The pandemic that shuttered the nation鈥檚 schoolhouses and has disrupted K-12 education for more than a year also cast massive uncertainty over the funding that sustains every aspect of their operations. That uncertainty poses a keen threat to the chronically under-resourced schools that serve millions of the nation鈥檚 poorest students, many of them in communities of color.
