You probably hear it regularly: If Obama did it, Trump wants to get rid of it. But how does that dynamic apply to education?
We’ve taken a new look at how various K-12 initiatives, policies, and other moves by the Obama administration have fared in the Trump era. The policy areas we looked at cover several areas, from civil rights to early-childhood education. We put the policies’ status into these categories:
Not included are initiatives and similar moves by Obama’s Education Department that ended before Trump took office, such as the Race to the Top grants (which the Trump administration might have quickly snuffed out).
