Nearly two years of the pandemic have taken a toll on our nation’s students – especially those in the Black community and who are living with disabilities. But, as they say, in every crisis comes opportunity.

Please join Easterseals in a national initiative to improve special education services for Black students, especially those with disabilities. Easterseals is developing culturally responsive online tools and training for Black families and Special Education professionals that will help them successfully navigate the system and advocate for their students with disabilities.

We encourage education leaders, researchers, and family and student advocates to join us as we discuss this curriculum and its implications for overcoming systemic racism in education.
